Master of Malt Tamnavulin Single Cask 16 Year Old

Nose: malty start with grapey accents. Some pears. Becomes significantly more flowery and a lot sweeter after breathing. Vanilla. There’s also a vegetal side to it, like raw cabbage. That may seem strange, but it’s quite enjoyable. Mouth: starts very sweet but grows maltier (and even sweeter). Apples and pears. Nice oak. Hints of pineapple sweets...

I could not find a lot of information on this bottle. It would seem that a certain Mr Gray bottled this for his Inchedemmie Villa in Forres, near Elgin. I have no clue who Mr Gray was, but by the looks of it, I would venture this was bottled somewhere in the early 1990s. It smells fairly young on sweet malt, yellow apples, peach and dandelions....
