Bowmore Whisky

Bowmore is one of the oldest and most revered distilleries on Islay, with a history reaching back to 1779 and a reputation built on a distinctive marriage of peat smoke, coastal character and surprising elegance. Few distilleries have done more to define the idea of Islay whisky for drinkers around the world, yet Bowmore has always stood slightly apart from the most powerful styles of the island, often showing a more balanced interplay of smoke, fruit and soft maritime notes.
