Laphroaig 15 Year Old

Although Laphroaig is celebrated for its intense smoky flavors, best embodied by the 10 Year Old expression, the 15 Year Old is where the range begins to mellow. The more robust medicinal flavors step aside for an altogether softer, subtler peat smoke, with classic brine and vanilla coming through on the nose. On the palate, a creamy richness delivers toffee and citrus, offering a rounder, fuller experience than the 10 Year Old. Matured in American oak bourbon barrels and bottled at 46% without chill-filtration, this much-missed expression is back as a permanent fixture in the range after more than a decade's absence.
